Felucca Ride on the Nile in Aswan

Starting from your hotel or your Nile cruise in Aswan, your personal Egyptologist will pick you up in the late afternoon to start sailing the Nile by the felucca for about one Hour around Elephantine Island and to visit the Botanical Gardens.

Arrive at the tour's first stop, the Botanical Gardens on Lord Kitchener Island, which is rich in plants that were imported from all over the world. Enjoy some free time to stroll around the gardens, admiring the majestic trees and plants then head back to the boat and continue along the Nile, sailing around Elephantine Island and watching the sunset and the sky change color.

Finally, you'll get back to your hotel/Nile cruise in Aswan.

We booked a Felucca trip in Luxor. Our daughters wanted to ride camels and Ali arranged this for us all. We were collected from our hotel in Luxor and met Adel and Ahmed who sailed us family of 4 across to the West Bank to meet our camels and guides. It was so much fun and it was a great opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of Luxor East Bank. The camels and our guides took a gentle pace and we relaxed as we strolled through the village taking in all the sights and sounds of the friendly locals. A memorable experience. Once our camel ride was over, we returned to the felucca and were helped aboard for the felucca trip to banana Island. Ali arranged for a late lunch chicken kebab, salad and dips on board which was just delicious. We visited Banana Island which was interesting to see the farming of bananas. We finally returned on the relaxing felucca and had a cup of mint tea served on the boat. Adel and Ahmed were so friendly and genuine. We loved this trip so much, we asked Ali to book us another boat trip on the Nile to visit bird Island. Just wonderful. Thank you Ali, Adel and Ahmed for your hospitality and wonderful memories for life.
